Awake
“Time” is within the Dream, and all awakenings take place in, or are the subject of, time.
From the standpoint of ajata, of course, neither time nor awakening are a reality; the Dream itself is an illusion.
The awakening we speak of is the recognition that not any thing within life’s Dream has ever actually been manifested (aside from its appearance); therefore it does not exist as other than an illusion. And this includes you, the perceiver of life’s Dream.
The effect of this recognition is that it is a “life-changing” experience (but only so, within the Dream: “life” itself is illusion).
In spiritual circles, such a recognition is called “an awakening”. One has become “awake” to the illusion of “existence”. As Buddha said when someone asked him what his condition was, “I am awake.”
