End of the Road

What does the meaning of these words tell us? Nothing: “not existing; not a trace; in no way; zero”. Empty: “containing nothing; devoid.” Void: “complete emptiness; not holding anything; having no effect.”

Clearly, in nothingness, emptiness or the condition of a void, there is no time, there is no space, nor anything to be a cause of something or an effect of anything else.

This means that there is not anything which has any relationship to a supposed “you”. Therefore, we have gone beyond anything which has any implied connection to enlightenment, to the Absolute or the relative.

For what purpose, then, do spiritual scriptures speak of Nothingness or Emptiness or the Void?

Obviously, it must be the end of the spiritual (or any other) road.

What can be seen when we look to the very end?
